Hi! We're Megan and Daniel. As an adventure loving family with 3 active boys, we are always exploring... Motorhome travel has been a game changer for us. The ability to just jump in and go wherever, whenever, with complete freedom and independence, as well as all the comforts of home, has encouraged us to travel more often, as a couple and as a family.
We're Melbourne based, but travel near and far. Some of our favourite destinations so far have included: * Mount Hotham (VIC) * Illawarra and Central Coast (NSW) * Great Ocean Road (VIC) * Grampians and Hanging Rock (VIC) * Wilsons Promontory (VIC) * Adelaide (SA) * Gold Coast/Surfers Paradise (QLD) - doing the theme parks in an RV is AMAZING!
RentMeRV is a family business... so our RVs are pretty special to us. We hope you love motorhome travel as much as we do.
โIts a life time experience we loved itโ

โWe had a great time away in the RV. Everything was comfortable and the van is well supplied. We only had to take our own camping chairs, pillows and sleeping bags so it was easy to pack and go.โ
Todd
โWe had a fantastic trip!โ

โWe had a great time doing a road trip and camping in the van. The rooftop tent fits our family of 2 adults and 2 young kids just nice. Swift communication, and flexible with pick up arrangement too. Highly recommended!โ

โThe ad didn't say you had to pay extra for the tent, but then they added $350. The tent was completely wet the first day after the rain. It was damaged in many places. Ruined vacation.โ

โWe were very disappointed that gas line connectors were leaking and fumes were inside the van. Being on camp site we had no way of fixing, meaning we had no use of cooking or hot water in the van. We had to rely on friends help. Due diligence from the owners in supplying a van in working order should have been done.โ
Douglas
โBrilliant, not a complaint to be had . Our first trip and wont be our last with Daniel and Megan or other vans. Couldnt recommend higherโ
David
โThank you Daniel and Megan for allowing us to use your caravan. It has been one of the most rewarding and exceptional experiences for me and my friends. We would definitely do it again.โ
Cristian
โRoomy and easy to drive. She was lovely to us. Really helpful when off grid (though heads up, take matches for gas stove!). Fridge a great size for 4 or 5 people. Need to be scrupulous with 6 if you want fridge water. Kids and I loved our trip to the Murray for almost a week. Note that you may need to ask for the additional table if needing 3rd bed. Found her to be fuel efficient on the highway too. Pretty easy to park too.โ

โWe had a great holiday in Megan and Daniels van and managed to cope with parts of the van not working properly or not working at all. The toilet wouldnt flush even though it was full of water marking the toilet and bathroom smell badly the whole of our trip, the shower rose leaked very badly so the bathroom basin couldnt be used otherwise everything got wet, the microwave wouldnt work, the stove mechanism wouldnt light and there were no matches, and only one burner would work on the stove. The water tank gages for fresh water and grey water wasnt working. The main legal matter was though there was no smoke alarm which is a mandatory oversight. In saying all this Meagan and Daniel were very helpful in their communication when the power for the lights stopped working and they worked with us to rectify the problem. Once all the defects in the van are resolved it would be good to hire, but their kilometres per day is very low at 150 kilometres compared to other vans at 200 kilometres per day and they charge 0.50 cents per kilometre when the total is passed whereas others only charge 0.30 cents when the total is passed.โ

โIt was good, clean, we enjoy our holiday. Two things that are a bit uncomfortable are the centre table that cannot be used and the water indicator is not accurate, fresh water and waste water. But overall its still good.โ

โIt was a great experience for us. We were first time camper canners, Megan and Daniel were kind and helpful with all our queries.โ

โOverall we enjoyed the campervan experience however we would not hire this particular van again. The main issue we had was that this van is advertised as being suitable for off grid for about 2 days at a time (which is what we were doing), if we were conservative with use and had sun to recharge the solar batteries. However we found that the battery would keep going off after even only 1 day or less(despite driving for 4 hours and a full sunny day of 27C). We would wake up in the morning and the battery would be off and fridge off. It you started the car and ran it for a short time it would reset but this was stressful. Basically the van has old battery technology and it appears to be on its last legs. The solar panels much the same. Fortunately we were travelling with other people who had newer vans who were able to plug us to use their inverter and solar. If you only want to use this van in powered sites then it would be okay but definetely not off grid at all. There were also other things that didn't work and require fixing. the control panels don't work. The flush on the toilet doesn't work so you have to do this manually. One of the burners on the gas stove top doesn't work. The USB charging ports don't work even when plugged in to power. We had to take some of our own equipment as there was no kettle or saucepans provided. We really only dealt with Megan and she was helpful and explained everything at handover.โ

โWe had a great time in this Motorhome. The handover and return was seamless. Daniel was extremely helpful when we found one of the bed was needing something extra and he fixed it up straightaway. Great host!โ

โGood, enjoyed the experienceโ

โHad excellent time. Van easier to drive than I thought. Was also easy enough to park. Best way to do a road trip in Oz.โ
Keith
โWe had a great time away in this home on wheels. It was great having everything with us, easy to drive and park even being a large vehicle. Daniel was very easy to deal with would highly recommendโ
Matthew
โDaniel and Megans van was ideal for our road trip to Bathurst for the Supercars races followed by golf at Yarrawonga. The van was easy to drive and had lots of storage. The bed is very comfortable. The fridge kept everything fresh while at an unpowered site for four days! We would highly recommend this van for anyone planning a campervan road trip.โ

โDisappointed with this motorhome. It needs a good clean, there are scuffs, dust bunnies and squished bugs on the ceiling. We avoided using the toilet because it was not clean at all and smelt a bit yuk too. We didnt dare run the airconditioner by the looks of the filter which was filthy. We paid a rather high price ($97) for the linen package, and got only fitted sheets (no flats) and pillows which were so thin and clumpy you could see through them. We had to buy pillows. We also paid for the bath and kitchen towels package ($40) and got 4 thin mismatched towels and just one tea towel (it was an 8 day hire). Looked for a toaster - couldnt find it... A window (which was repaired with tape) leaked water onto our luggage one rainy night. We wouldnt recommend this van unless these issues are resolved.โ
Tina
โThis was our first time in a motorhome. Megan provided videos beforehand on how to operate the van and was helpful answering all questions during handover. The van was easy to drive and had all the amenities we required. Perfect for our family of 3!โ
Dominic
โMeaghan and Daniel were super helpful and informative hosts for a complete novice such as me. As described van is super easy to drive.โ
